Moving into the new year we have some very exciting announcements! This past Holiday week we had the return of our Strongtown Kids program! This was a 1 week camp and it was great to get the kids out of the lounge and out on the gym floor. The program was such a success that we are going to be adding a Saturday 10:00am Kids Class to our schedule. The Class will be for the 5-9 age group and will be run next door during the regular 10:00am CrossFit Class. This means that if you have kids that are interested in the program you can bring them to the gym on Saturday, get a workout in with the 10am class and have the Kids get a workout in at the same time!

We are also adding a couple of events that we will be revisiting each month. Starting this upcoming Sunday...the 1st Sunday of every month at 9:00am and we will be adding a 'Sunday Skills' class. These classes will be anywhere from 30-60 minutes and will be focused on developing / improving a particular skill. This upcoming Sunday will be the first class and we will be focusing on Kipping

In addition to monthly skills classes we will also be adding 'Showdown Saturday' on the last Saturday of each month. These days will be treated as a miniature in-house competition...the workouts will be run in heats and everyone will be assigned a Judge to make sure standards are upheld. These days will start at 9:00am and should be wrapped up by 11:00.

Moving into January our Monthly Challenge Series has been updated. I have a bit of tallying to do on December's challenge and will be getting the results posted shortly. The new challenge has been posted here: Monthly Challenge Series.

Finally, congratulations to our December's Finest! The end of the year and Holiday season have a way of making the gym time a tough item to prioritize. Anyone who made the list below was able to make at least 16 Classes or Open Gym sessions  throughout the month of December.
