academy is a progressive workout program featuring six different workouts that are repeated weekly on a sliding schedule for it’s term (4 to 6 weeks).
open to all - no prior experience or fundamental classes are required.
safe - no barbells are included...workouts incorporate simple functional movements as well as dumbbells & Kettlebells.
structured - workouts are released in advance....you know what they will be and when they will repeat
efficient - classes are 45 minutes long...get in, get out, get in shape.
effective - by retesting the workouts each week we are able to see consistent incremental improvement.
ALL OF THE WORKOUTS ARE CLASSIFIED INTO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING DAYS:
+ Station Day
Station Rotation - Max Reps at Each Station
Rotate through each each station. Goal is to complete as many reps as possible in the allotted time.
+ AMRAP Day
As Many Rounds & Reps as Possible
Complete as many rounds and reptitions of the workout as possible in the given time.
+ Interval Day
Multiple Rounds of a specific Work / Rest Interval
Work and rest intervals are set. Goal is to maintain a given number / rep count across all intervals.
+ Ladder Day
Increasing Reps Each Round - For Total Reps
Each round the repetitions increase by a given number. Goal is to complete as many repetitions as possible in allotted time.
+ AMRAP's Day
Repeating AMRAP's - Each Scored Individually
Multiple AMRAP's with a set amount of rest in between each one. Each AMRAP scored individually by total Rounds & Reps completed.
+ EMOM Day
Every Minute on the Minute
Every Minute (or set time interval) complete the given task.
